Discover one of the most original examples of a 1969 L89 Corvette on the market! This stunning vehicle boasts a certified original engine, original paint, and an untouched interior, making it an exceptionally rare find. With its unique options, including the extremely rare factory side exhaust, this Corvette is a true collector’s dream and a proud 5-Star Bowtie Award winner!
When you ordered the RPO L89 in 1969, you received the powerful 427/435hp big block engine. What sets this model apart are the aluminum heads, which save approximately 100 lbs from the front end, delivering the performance of a big block while benefiting from the lightweight of a small block. It’s the ultimate street combination!
The L89s were produced in limited numbers over three years: 16 in 1967, 624 in 1968, and just 390 in 1969. This particular Corvette has achieved the highest award for unrestored vehicles from the National Corvette Restorer Society (N.C.R.S.), earning the prestigious 5-Star Bowtie Award.
Notably, the side pipes on this car were only available as an option in 1969. This Corvette was built on July 20, 1969—a historic date that coincided with the Apollo 11 moon landing. It’s fitting, as many astronauts drove Corvettes!
Mileage: 29,405 miles
