The 1970 model year was an interesting one for the Big Three. Because of a dock strike the previous year '69's were initially hard to come by. But the powers that beat GM, namely John Delorean decided to let production run through the end of the year. As a result, there were over 38k Corvettes built in '69! But it was a different story for '70. An abbreviated production run resulted in only a bit over 17k units built. Less than half of the previous year. Making the '70 Corvette a fairly rare commodity.
Which brings us to the beautiful example presented here. It's resplendent in highly sought-after Laguna Gray. The interior has been completely refurbished, and a brand new white soft top has been installed. The #'s matching LS5 big block engine has recently been rebuilt and is equipped with a heavy-duty aluminum radiator with twin electric fans, which assure cool running's! Additional options include power brakes, power steering, and am/fm radio. Everything works! even the clock!
Engine out complete rebuild with all new correct components.
Transmission rebuilt.
New correct water pump.
Power starring pump rebuilt.
New top with correct date, and labeling.
New top/door/window seals installed with top.
New BFG TA radials with approximately 1200 miles on them.
